SUGAR ARMY ON TOUR WITH GYROSCOPE / SHIHAD; WA TOUR WITH COG ANNOUNCED

Sugar Army are tearing it up in Queensland right now alongside Gyroscope and Shihad, but there'll be no slowing down for the band when they get back on home soil.

Late October, they'll be touring with Cog up and down the West Coast, including several big top shows hitting regional towns.

Sugar Army also have a rare All Ages performance Friday 31st October as part of the Canning Show.

The band will then spend the rest of the year completing the writing process for their highly anticipated debut album, due for release in 2009.

HARLEQUIN LEAGUE TOURING NATIONALLY WITH END OF FASHION

In anticipation of the upcoming release of their debut EP 'We Used To Be Gods, Now We're So Plain', Harlequin League will be loading up the Harlequin-mobile and joining fellow Perth darlings End Of Fashion on their Australian album launch tour throughout September.

Harlequin League will storm through our dry, brown land playing a massive 16 dates in six capital cities and 10 regional towns over 18 days in September, finishing up in the first week of October, safe and sound, back home in Perth (touch wood).

The band will be launching their debut EP in their hometown on Saturday September 20 at Amplifier, with special guests Streetlight and The Slim Pickins.

SCHVENDES HEAD TO THE RED SHIFT

Schvendes headline The Red Shift on Friday August 15 for what is sure to be a very special and intimate performance in the comfort of the small, dark confines of Shape's upstairs bar. Supported by French Rockets and Pacific By Rail, doors open at 9pm and a mere $10 gets you in. DJs Sock Mobster and Gemma Pike (RTRFM) will help guide you through the much later part of the evening.

Schvendes’ debut album ‘Sweet Talk Your Enemies’ is out now on Good Cop Bad Cop via Inertia (GCBC003), and a national tour in support of the album will be announced very soon.
